Learn German at BWS Germanlingua in the center of Cologne.
You will learn German in a friendly atmosphere and in a very effective way. All BWS teachers are highly qualified and experienced in teaching German as a foreign language. They are very friendly and helpful for any challenge.
The lessons are varied, interesting and follow a clear progression. Effective learning can be guaranteed in small groups. After classes BWS Germanlingua offers a lot of social activities, 3 free activities/week.
During this course, you will develop the skills provided by the Standard Course - writing, listening, reading and speaking, with an additional special focus on communication.
In addition to your group course you can book extra lessons to deepen your knowledge.
This course prepares you for the exams of Telc and the Goethe institute: the Zertifikat B1 (ZD), the Zertifikat B2, the Zertifikat C1 (ZMP), the Zertifikat C2 (ZOP), Test-DaF and the Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Zugang ausländischer Studienbewerber - DSH (both are entrance examinations for German universities).

The Business German lessons are aimed at those students who need the German language for their work. During these lessons, you focus on the special needs depending on your profession.

If the selected housing is not available for your dates, the school will offer another accommodation option for you to consider.
I don't need housing
In the students' apartment, you will share a flat with other students of BWS school. You have the option to book a twin room which you will share with another student of a different nationality or to book a single room just for yourself. In both cases, you will be sharing the kitchen and bathroom with all students living in the residence. Please note that the minimum age for this type of accommodation is 20.
A security deposit of € 300 is required upon arrival.

Food
This option offers the possibility to indulge into German daily life, culture and food and the opportunity to speak German also after school hours. Your accommodation could be with a big family of father, mother, two kids and a dog as well as a single mother and her child, a single person or a couple. In any case, the school always tries to match your needs, requirements and interests with the host family’s profile.
If you like to be more independent, self-catering apartments with a small kitchen and own bathroom for one person will be the right accommodation for you. You can bring a second person at extra charge.
