I really enjoyed my 2 weeks of English courses. I had a really good welcome by the staff members and by my teacher.

Philadelphia is a major international city with a rich history extending back to America’s founding.

FLS is located on the campus of Chestnut Hill College in northwest Philadelphia’s quaint Chestnut Hill neighborhood. A private Catholic school, the college was founded in 1924 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The beautiful campus includes striking Gothic structures, like St. Joseph Hall, a chapel, tennis courts, a soccer field and a pool house.

Throughout the city you’ll find reminders of America’s past, from Independence

Hall and the Liberty Bell to many sites related to Benjamin Franklin, one of the city’s most famous residents. Today Philadelphia is a vigorous, modern metropolis with a full range of attractions from world-class museums to major sports teams to diverse ethnic neighborhoods.

You can also easily explore nearby Manhattan, since New York City is just 90

minutes away. And don’t forget Philadelphia’s famous contributions to cuisine, like the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and the soft pretzel!

June 2016
very good

I really enjoyed my 2 weeks of English courses. I had a really good welcome by the staff members and by my teacher. One of best things in the way of teaching there was the exchange between the students during the class. It helps so much to have the correct pronunciation!

Unfortunately, I started getting bored since the second week because we studied something that I already knew, and the tests were too too easy and working rhythm was too slow for me. It was not really intensive.

I made many friends and learned so many things from different cultures. Students came from all around the world, and that's amazing! I think that is what makes the charm of this program.
