It was my first trip, so there is nothing much to compare. Teachers and administrators at the school were friendly, ready to provide support on any issue. The school is located in the Korean quarter, there were a lot of students from Korea. The class consists of 10-15 people. The learning process is standard, there are tasks for the textbook, presentations with new material on the screen and movies with explanations of the teacher. I was there only for 2 weeks and I realized that it isn’t enough for the sake of language. If you want to feel the result then one month is a minimum stay. All other students have been studying for at least 4 months. I didn’t book the school accommodation. I booked accommodation on Airbnb, 20 minutes away by foot from the school. I had day classes, so I missed all extracurricular activities. In general, I do not worry about this, because in LA there are many things to do and a lot of places to see. Speaking about the linguatrip work, I booked the course 2 weeks before the start of the course, I could not get confirmation from the school for a long time, as a result, I received confirmation 4 days before the departure. I paid for the intensive course (20 hours per week), but because I had a tourist visa I could not take the course with more than 15 hours per week due to the law. I was told about this after I booked the course. It’s much better to know this in advance. Then administrator tried to reach an agreement with the school about this intensive course and it kind of worked out at first. From Linguatrip I received an instruction to arrive at school on the first day at 8:30 to pass the test, everything else I discussed with the school directly. When I arrived at school I was told that with my visa I can only take a half-intensive course, and the amount money I paid just matches the half-intensity. I realized that it is useless to argue with the Americans when it comes to the law, so I did not get upset and took the proposed course. The overall impression of the trip is excellent, the school is good, linguatrip work is so far satisfactory, but there is something to work on.
