During breaks from English classes in Cleveland, students can visit the calm, serene Lake Erie beaches and parks, located near campus. These are ideal locations for relaxing, sun bathing, swimming, and fishing.

Our Semi-Intensive English language program offers students the opportunity to study English in the United States, while also having the freedom to explore and experience the culture. This is done through a structured schedule, where students attend English classes during the morning and have the afternoons to themselves, allowing them to meet new friends, visit landmarks or plan trips to exciting new places.

Homestays are in a quiet residential area of Cleveland. Students are responsible for their own transportation. Most students use the bus or train to travel to and from campus.
ELS has a well-established homestay program to accommodate students’ interests and needs. Living with a homestay family allows students to immerse themselves in American culture and practice their English skills daily. Homestay families provide a warm, welcoming environment.
