Intensive English course is one of the most popular courses at European School of English in Malta and is ideal for adults who would like to improve their English level in a shorter time frame. By combining group study sessions with one-to-one lessons, you enjoy the benefit of group interaction and the opportunity to focus on any particular areas of English language during the one-to-one sessions with you teacher.
By following an English for Work course, you will become more fluent and confident in your use of English. You will also expand general English and work-related vocabulary and learn the language to help you with your job.
The English for Work course is made up of General English lessons (20 lessons) and 10 lessons which focus specifically on English for Work. You will improve your level of general English, learn language items and important phrases which you need to prepare for and take an interview, start a new job and get to know new colleagues at work.
Entry level: A2/Pre-Intermediate
The IELTS exam preparation course includes guidance on how to improve exam skills and technique during the morning classes and intense development of the four core language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing), language knowledge input and IELTS exam practice in the afternoon sessions. Your exam preparation class includes guidance on how to become a more independent learner, participation in the Student’s Podium (giving presentations and peer teaching) and monthly tutorials with an experienced teacher.
Note: the minimum level of English is B1 or B2.
The school must confirm the availability of your chosen accommodation.
If the selected housing is not available for your dates, the school will offer another accommodation option for you to consider.

Living with a host family means that you experience the Maltese way of life first-hand while enjoying the advantage of extra English practice in the most natural of settings — at home! School's host families are carefully selected by its reservations staff to ensure that you will be hosted in a suitable, welcoming and comfortable environment. Most host families are located within walking distance of the European School of English.

The Salini Resort is a 4* Hotel just 10 minutes away by car/bus from the ESE Main School. Situated in the North of Malta in the St Paul's bay region, it offers open view of the Mediterranean Sea. It is equipped with various facilities including indoor and outdoor pools, a gym and a sauna.
ESE Residence rooms are modern twin-bedded rooms with private bathroom facilities, study desk, TV, phone, free WiFi and air-conditioning. A 24 hour receptionist is on hand for your added security and assistance plus a sumptuous breakfast is provided in The Cake Box Cafe, (part of 'The Cake Box' brand).
The ESE Residence (within the ESE Complex) is situated in the heart of St. Julian’s where you will find all amenities and major attractions including cafés, restaurants, nightclubs, gift shops, shopping mall, banks, casinos, cinema complex, bowling alley and a lot more.
A cash deposit of € 100 is required from all students at the time of check-in which may be refundable on departure.

I was in this school for a month. During that time, I only saw one announcement for the event. And then, I didn't like it at all. As for the course and the teachers at the school, everything was fine. I didn't have any problems during the course. Everything was great! I cam recommend :)
