The host families have been vetted by ISE and are also Garda (police) vetted. The student will have their own room (en-suite bathroom if possible but not guaranteed), front door key and use of all household facilities – cooking (snacks), washing and drying clothes, ironing, internet etc. Host family accommodation is half board – breakfast and dinner. Staying in an Irish home is very valuable part of the learning process, immersing the student in

the English language and providing a useful insight into the Irish way of life. Students live within the family home and gain first–hand experience of Irish culture.
