Adult campus is located on the south side of the city. It’s just a few minutes walk from Stephen’s Green, a historical park and garden, and just 5 minutes walk from Grafton Street, Dublin’s most popular shopping street. The Luas stop (tram) is minutes away on foot, and Pearse Street, and Tara Street station (train) are about a 20-minute walk away. The school is also very close to a number of good restaurants, cafes, pubs and nightclubs.

The school is located in a classical Georgian period building, but still is modern inside with multimedia classrooms, free WiFi, student lounge and patio, library equipped with computers, student canteen.

General English 15 TOP CHOICE

General English is designed to develop all kinds of language skills. Students will replenish their vocabulary, strengthen grammar, improve written English, strengthen reading skills. A team of experienced and energetic teachers uses a communicative method of teaching. You will be encouraged to work in pairs and groups to ensure classes are communicative and lively. Students also receive some classes in exam preparation to help them to prepare for the exam for their level.

With this course, you can quickly speak in English and use the language in everyday communication situations.

This course is available as work and study program - 25 weeks. Choosing a course for 25 weeks, you can work 20 hours a week during school and 40 hours on weekends and vacations.

Student Residence

30 minutes from school walking

No meals

Student Residences are intended for individuals who really want to enjoy the student accommodation experience. All of the residences are located in safe areas of the city and most of them are close to the school. Most of them are located within walking distance of Dublin city centre (20 - 40 minutes on foot). Other residences are within 40 minutes by public transport or by bicycle. ISE do not guarantee availability in central accommodation. These residences are well equipped with all standard conveniences such as TV, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, cooker, central heating, free broadband Internet access.

You can choose a single, twin or multi-bedded room. There are washing and cooking facilities for self-catering, high- speed Wi-Fi connection and complete bedding.

The prices include the bills (electricity, gas, water, bins) and free Wi-Fi Internet connection.

Homestay

40 minutes from school on public transport

Half board

Homestay families are the best option to experience the culture and learn more about local people. This is highly recommended for students who want to be immersed in the Irish life style, with home cooking and the opportunity to practice the language through conversation. The student can also experience living in a typical environment, which will enrich his knowledge of the local culture. Also, the host families have been vetted by ISE and are also Garda (police) vetted.

ISE’s host families are on a direct bus route to Dublin City Centre. Most of the host families are located in the suburbs away from Dublin city centre. Students may have about 40-minute drive by bus to the campus.

You can choose a single or twin room. All families have shared family bathroom, light laundry facilities, so students can use all household facilities, such as cooking(snacks) in shared kitchen, washing and drying clothes, ironing, using internet and etc. They also provide ‘half board', meaning breakfast and an evening meal (Monday to Friday); breakfast, small lunch and evening meal on Saturday and Sunday. Special request (dietary, pets, children etc) must be made at the time of the initial booking.
