On the General English course, you attend a core of 20 lessons per week, which will give you a practical understanding of the English language and take you all the way to fluency. Your confidence will improve as teachers train you in all four communication skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Taking the time to seriously focus on your English will open up unlimited opportunities for you. You will develop fluency, accuracy and appropriate uses of English across all four language skills. You will benefit from excellent guidance, monitoring and feedback throughout this course. As your English and your confidence improve, you will broaden your horizons and gain a huge advantage in your chosen career or education.
Studying abroad will also give you incredible experiences. You will challenge yourself, become more independent and make lasting international friendships.

Choose from three course levels: General English, Semi-Intensive English, and Intensive English. Each level can be tailored to help you achieve fluency while challenging yourself and developing life-long friendships.
This course is only available to students studying in the USA or Canada. You get 24 lessons (18 hours) per week in General English including 4 lessons per week in your choice of Special Focus study. Take an additional Special Focus lessons each week to make further progress and tailor your studies to your specific areas of interest.
The school must confirm the availability of your chosen accommodation.
If the selected housing is not available for your dates, the school will offer another accommodation option for you to consider.
I don't need housing
In a homestay you will live with local English speakers, and experience an authentic lifestyle. You will live as your hosts live, eat what they eat and spend time at home together. Many students enjoy the homecooked food and extra feeling of security in a homestay. Speak English all the time Staying with local people means you will practise your English with native speakers at home in a very natural way. If you choose this type of accomodation, you will have single room with shared bathroom and half-board food option.

This is a brand new, well-organized residence with incredible views of Downtown Vancouver. A number of apartments also offer partial views of the sea and the mountains.
Each apartment consists of 2-3 single bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, 1 open-plan kitchen, 1 spacious living room, and two full shared bathrooms.
Each bedroom is equipped with a bed, desk, chair, and allocated closet space per student.
The residence is situated one block away from Davie Street, one of the most exciting neighbourhoods in Vancouver with fantastic nightlife, restaurants, cafes, and Sunset Beach just a short walk away. There are supermarkets and excellent transport links nearby.
Robson Street, the city’s most popular shopping hotspot, is also a few blocks away from the residence.
