Students can live with Canadian families. Each student will have his or her private room in a home approved by the Accommodation Coordinator.
Students will have the option of selecting Full-board (three meals per day) or Half-board (breakfast & dinner). All of the host families have been carefully selected and counseled on welcoming international students into their families. There is a variety of host families, and the school takes careful steps to match each student with the most suitable family. This program is carefully monitored to guarantee that all students have positive homestay experiences.
Oxford International Toronto establishes a contract for every homestay placement to confirm that students have a safe experience with their Canadian family. Most students travel 30 to 60 minutes to school by bus from their host families' homes. All students enrolled in the homestay program receive a comprehensive orientation package, which includes helpful information about living with a Canadian family.
