Course starts every Monday and is for all language levels

General English Program will take students from even beginner levels to a highly advanced one in the span of a year.

1) Regular Program (20h/ week)

This program is perfect for those who want to learn the language and enjoy some free time to explore Montreal and its nearby destinations.

Monday to Thursday

8:30 - 10:30 : Oral Grammar

10:30 - 11:30 : Skills

11:30 - 12:30 : Lunch

12:30 - 14:30: Conversation

40 minutes from school on public transport

This option is highly recommended for students who wish to learn the local culture, and offers them a homelike environment to live in and an opportunity to further learn the language with Canadian locals.

The host families selected by ALI are experienced in hosting international students and they are known to provide a welcoming and friendly environment to visiting students.

Homestay Coordinator chooses the family based on each student’s profile and information provided on the application form. Students can choose to stay with an English, a French, or a bilingual family.

Homestay (16-17)

40 minutes from school on public transport
Minimum age — 16
Half board/full board

This option is highly recommended for students who wish to learn the local culture, and offers them a homelike environment to live in and an opportunity to further learn the language with Canadian locals.

All locations are clean, comfortable, and fully furnished.
