In over 30 years as an established language school, Sprachcaffe Munich has continually developed the language teaching concept and has integrated the latest linguistic techniques.
Students will be inspired to learn the German language in this magnificent city. With a variety of courses available, every student will have the opportunity to invest in a German course that will help them meet their language goals while experiencing a city like no other.
Students will thrive in Sprachcaffe’s comfortable and relaxed learning environment, while still feeling motivated and passionate about every aspect of the German language.
Please note that the material fee is calculated for 2 weeks. After that, the additional 6 EUR/week will be charged.
Characteristics: The Standard course offers students the perfect balance between language training and leisure time. A communicative approach developing fluency in speaking, listening, reading and writing ensures that the grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation components are applied to actual language use. Our teachers assess their students' learning needs and objectives on the first day, and then plan their lessons accordingly. In this way, our students are motivated to keep improving, while also having a good time!
Timetable: 09:00 – 10:30 & 11:00 – 12:30
Lessons:
4 lessons per day
20 lessons per week
5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
1 lesson = 45 minutes
Students: Max. 12 per class; minimum age for adult programmes is 18.
The quickest and most intensive way to learn the language, our individual tuition is based on the student's learning needs and interests. The content is agreed upon between the student and the teacher, and the course is not dependent on published course starting dates. Special preparation for examinations is also possible.
Timetable: To be agreed upon individually, in high season mainly in the afternoon.
Lessons:
2, 4 or 6 lessons daily.
Lessons can be arranged from Monday to Friday to suit the student's individual plan, allowing for easy combination with leisure activities.
Students: Min. age 18, students younger than 18 accepted with parental or guardian authorization
Characteristics: Ideal for students who want to learn the language more intensively. The additional lessons give one the opportunity to focus further on various aspects and contexts of the language - and still have time for the afternoon leisure activities!
Timetable: 09:00 to 10:30, 11:00 to 12:30 & 13:00 to 14:30.

Students: Max. 10 per class; min. age 18, 16-18 year-olds accepted with parental or guardian authorization.
The school must confirm the availability of your chosen accommodation.
If the selected housing is not available for your dates, the school will offer another accommodation option for you to consider.

Our apartments with shared bathrooms and fully-equipped kitchens are located in Sachsenhausen, a quiet residential district just a 10 minute walk from the city centre. Most apartments are located in the school building, others are 10-15 minutes away on foot or by public transport. The difference between standard apartments and comfort apartments lies in their size and the panoramic view of the city.
Services: The apartments are cleaned once a week but students are asked to take care of the day-to-day cleaning. Bed-linen is provided, students are requested to provide their own towels. Check-in time: Sunday 14:00 - 20:00.
Distance to school: All apartments are in the school building
Distance to supermarket: 5 minute walk.

Staying in a private home requires a certain amount of flexibility, but it also offers the best opportunity for you to immediately apply what you’ve learned in the language course. You’ll also get a more of an insight into the lifestyle, traditions and culture of your host country and the habits of its residents.
Host families provide single rooms with breakfast or half-board.
Services: Cleaning service once a week; bed-linen is provided, students are requested to provide their own towels.
Distance to supermarket: 5-10 minute walk.
Distance to city centre: 20-30 minutes by public transport.
