Experience German lifestyle and culture at The Carl Duisberg Training Center Cologne.
The Carl Duisberg Training Center Cologne is centrally located on the edge of downtown Cologne. The school is just a short walk away from the Rhine and Cologne Cathedral, the picturesque historic district, and the pedestrian zone for shopping. It's close to public transport, with subway and tram stations within walking distance.
The Carl Duisberg Training Center Cologne language school has 17 classrooms, most of them air-conditioned, and a "Lernstudio". The cafeteria has vending machines serving hot and cold drinks as well as snacks, plus a microwave. There is a public college cafeteria nearby, as well as numerous inexpensive cafés and restaurants.
The Intensive Course provides you with the German language skills required for further education, to achieve your career goals, and broaden your horizons.
The course consists of 24 classes in groups and 2 workshops per week.
You will acquire basic knowledge of German or develop your existing language skills in a targeted manner. Workshops give you the opportunity to practice language skills, gain a deeper knowledge of grammar, expand your vocabulary, and learn more about current topics relating to culture and society.
The registration fee and the price of the placement test are included in the cost of the course.
The Crash Course combines group lessons with one-to-one lessons so that you benefit from both learning environments: the diversity of group communication and the focus on individual needs. You may choose either 5 or 10 TU of one-to-one training (general language or specialized language). The registration fee and the price of placement test are included in the cost of the course.
The school must confirm the availability of your chosen accommodation.
If the selected housing is not available for your dates, the school will offer another accommodation option for you to consider.

You can stay with a host family, which can be either a family in the classical sense or an individual person or a single parent. The host family can live downtown but can also be located in the suburbs. In a host family, you can also book just breakfast, or half board (breakfast and an evening meal). The meals are typical German cuisine.
You can book lodgings in a private home without meals or with breakfast or with half-board. In many cases, you can prepare smaller meals yourself, but in general, the lodgings do not include the use of the kitchen to do all of your own cooking.
If you have booked a room with breakfast or half-board, then as a rule you will take those meals together with the other members of the family and the other guests. Half board means that you will receive breakfast and dinner. In Germany, breakfast and dinner are, as a rule, not warm meals but rather consist of bread or buns, sausage, cheese and marmalade. Consider it to be a cultural experience to eat the way Germans do.

Last summer I was studying German at Carl Duisberg Center Köln. Before going to LinguaTrip, I tried to book courses myself in several language schools in Germany. I've waited too long to get a response or hadn't got any at all. For example, I got an invitation to a course in Hamburg 7 days before it
