Situated on the Mediterranean coast, International House Nice is close to the famous seaside resorts of Antibes, Juan-les-Pins, Cannes and Monaco.
International House Nice is very safe, high class and Ideally located: 5 minutes from the railway station, 6 minutes from the main street, Avenue Jean Médecin, 7 minutes from the seafront.
School's new 400 square meters site, spanning the first floor of a 20-year-old building, includes eight spacious classrooms, each equipped with state of the art equipment.
In 2020, there will be no classes on the following public holidays:
on 13th April, 1st May, 8th May, 21st May, 1st June, 14th July and 11th November.
The school opens on Monday 6th January 2020 and closes on Friday 18th December 2020. It will reopen on Monday 4th January 2021.
This course is very popular as it gives students the possibility to learn French in a great setting, in small groups of maximum 10 students. It focuses on structured oral activities, on aural comprehension and on practical grammar, all of which you will be able to apply immediately to everyday life. A small amount of reading comprehension, writing practice and cross-cultural exercises is incorporated, depending on your level.

This course meets the needs of those students wishing to get the most out of their French course in Nice. In the mornings you will be with students on the intensive course GR 20 and you will also have three afternoons of extra lessons in relatively small groups, which will build on the content of the morning classes. This course encourages oral communication, and aims to strengthen grammatical structures and is adapted to the needs of the individual students.

This programme suits students who wish to benefit from the dynamic and motivating atmosphere of group courses, but who also wish to undertake one-to-one classes which focus on the individual student's needs. High-quality courses offer value for money and are perfect for those students who only have a short time to dedicate to their French, who wish to work on particular language skills or those who require French for specific purposes such as business French, legal French, diplomatic French etc.
The course is made up of 20 group lessons as part of the general French course (GR 20) as well as 10 private lessons per week, 2 lessons per day.
The school must confirm the availability of your chosen accommodation.
If the selected housing is not available for your dates, the school will offer another accommodation option for you to consider.
I don't need housing
Staying in a host family is the best way to get to know French culture and to practice your French. Host families may be single parents and children, a couple or a single parent who takes in students because he or she enjoys the company. You will encounter a warm friendly atmosphere where only French is spoken There may also be other students in the house, so you will also enjoy their company.
Students are lodged in single or double rooms. Weekly laundry and cleaning is included. You will have your own keys to come and go as you wish, but you will have to respect a schedule, especially for mealtimes, and some basic rules. Please remember that the host family accommodation may not be luxurious but the family will be hospitable and you will be well looked after.
Description:
- The rooms all have a bed, a desk, a chair, a wardrobe and a window.
- Accommodation is available from the Sunday before the course starts until the Saturday following the end of the course.
- All host families live in Nice, usually in the centre of town close to school. In the summer, high demand means it is possible that some families will be further away from school, up to 30 minutes away by bus or tram.
- If requested, students can be met at the train station or airport. This service is available until 9pm, if students are arriving after this a shuttle bus service is available.
- Please inform the host family of your arrival information at least a week before arrival.

This residence is located on the rue de France, 3 minutes from the Promenade des Anglais and the sea. There are many shops around and you can easily do your shopping in the area. There are regular buses to the city centre and a shuttle bus to the airport that stops on the Promenade des Anglais.
STUDIO JACKET OF THE RESIDENCE COMPOSES OF:
- One bed (extra bed possible);
- A table, a chair, a closet;
- A kitchenette with all the necessary elements for the kitchen (fridge, electric plates, sink, etc.);
- A shower room and toilets;
- You can ask for the television;
- Wi-fi by a paying coupon system;
- Sheets are provided.
IN THE RESIDENCE THERE IS ALSO:
- a laundromat;
- a beverage dispenser.
DEPOSIT:
- When you arrive, you will be asked for a deposit of 150 euro which will be returned to you at departure.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT:
- Check-in is on Sunday between 18:00 and 22:00
- Check-out is on Saturday before 12:00
