The programme allows the teachers to update the knowledge of contemporary France and the French language in perpetual evolution. It helps develop teaching techniques and work on class dynamics while deepening knowledge of French culture and civilization. The trainee teachers will leave with ideas directly applicable in their class, teaching materials and authentic documents.

With the intensive course, you will have the opportunity to learn the basics of the French language and to focus on the theme of your choice.
Combine general French language lessons with 3 linguistic workshops (1,5 hour each) to focus on the skills required for a fast progress and a better improvement of your personal cultural knowledge.
Workshops can focus on the linguistic elements such as speaking and listening, writing and reading, phonetics or grammar, but also, for more advanced levels, more cultural themed workshops such as current events, traditions and civilisation are available. Some other workshops offer a preparation to the DELF/DALF exam, ideal for the students who wish to enter the French university or those who wish to certify their French level for professional or personal reasons.

If the selected housing is not available for your dates, the school will offer another accommodation option for you to consider.

Staying with a host family is a unique intercultural experience.
You are fully autonomous, but families are happy to give advice and ensure you benefit from their experience of the region, making your stay that much more authentic and unique!
All host families are carefully selected by school's team. They are all welcoming and hospitable, regardless of age or circumstances.
All families live up to 40 minutes from the school. Each family hosts one or more students with a different mother tongue.
