Our comfortable Fisherman’s Wharf school is steps from North Beach shops and a cable car ride from exclusive Nob Hill.
Gain a sound understanding of a language through a well-rounded course.
This carefully composed course of 26 weekly lessons (total tuition time of 17 hours and 20 minutes), held in the morning and afternoon, is designed to help you move up one course level every six weeks. General language lessons build your grammar and vocabulary, while our project sessions improve your research and communication skills through practical work tailored to your interests.
You’ll also benefit from 4 Special Interest Lessons, which focus your studies on the subjects you enjoy and help you reach your academic goals – whether it’s your destination’s culture or preparing for an official exam. Insurance is not included in the price.

If the selected housing is not available for your dates, the school will offer another accommodation option for you to consider.

EF Homestays are typically in residential neighborhoods throughout the city, conveniently located near public transporation. Homestay hosts are carefully selected and we connect with them regularly to ensure their home is suitable and our students are happy. Many EF Homestay Hosts have been welcoming our students for years.

• Two shared bathrooms on each floor, these are not large community restrooms but rather single use (one person at a time).
• One shared bathroom per 6-8 residents, but guests welcome to use any bathroom throughout the building not just the one closest to their room.
• For students preferring an en suite bathroom, we can offer this in certain twin rooms (article: REST-THUBE).
• All rooms recently renovated with updated flooring, painting, bathrooms and brand new furniture.
• Free Wi-Fi throughout building and all rooms equipped with cable TV.
• Bed linens, towels and toilet paper included and exchanged weekly.
