In the international business scene, English is the universal language of the world. The aim of this program is to improve business communication skills in English.
Your English skills will comprehensively improve with practical simulations such as student powerpoint presentations, telephone practice, negotiations, and meetings, but also by focusing on business vocabulary, listening, writing, and discussion skills.
On the intermediate level students study two aspects of business English: Integrated Business Concepts and Interactive Business Communication Skills.
The Advanced program of Business Communications follows the same basic structure of the Intermediate program. The Advanced class takes a more in-depth look at those topics introduced in the Intermediate level, with ample opportunities to improve and expand upon the skills learned therein.
The textbooks cost between $150-$240 per 12 weeks.
This course includes 21 lessons of ESL + 4 CMAR lessons per week.

CMAR* (CONVERSATION MANAGEMENT AND ACCENT REDUCTION)
MLI’s Conversation Management and Accent Reduction Class (CMAR) is a comprehensive pronunciation course covering all the major consonant and vowel sounds in the English language. The class is structured to allow for
group practice but also for guided one-on-one assistance from the teacher. In addition to guided pronunciation practice, listening components ensure that the students can aurally recognize the sounds that they are being asked
to replicate. The textbooks are rotated so that students may take the class for several terms without repeating the same material.
The textbooks cost between $150-$240 per 12 weeks.
IELTS™ is a test, developed in the UK and Australia, to evaluate students' English proficiency. Recently, many American universities have also started to require an IELTS ™ score.
The program consists of four parts: listening, speaking, reading and writing. In the class, you will learn the skills/strategies for achieving high scores in each section. IELTS ™ is said to be relatively easier than TOEFL®. It is a perfect program for students who find TOEFL® difficult.
The textbooks cost between $150-$240 per 12 weeks.
