EC Los Angeles is a modern learning space, just 5 minutes’ walk from Santa Monica beach.
The courses offered by EC Los Angeles are suitable for all levels of understanding, and are designed to focus on the area of your choice. Choose an Academic, Business or General English Course and study in the company of like-minded individuals from all over the world in the exciting city of Los Angeles. With the help of supportive, experienced teachers, state of the art facilities and the very best teaching materials, you’ll enjoy a life-changing experience and leave with the skills needed to pursue your dream.

On the General English course, you attend a core of 20 lessons per week, which will give you a practical understanding of the English language and take you all the way to fluency. Your confidence will improve as teachers train you in all four communication skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
This course is only available to students studying in the USA or Canada. You get 24 lessons (18 hours) per week in General English including 4 lessons per week in your choice of Special Focus study. Take an additional Special Focus lessons each week to make further progress and tailor your studies to your specific areas of interest.
This course is made up of 30 lessons (22.5 hours) per week including the General English classes. It also allows you to personalise your course by taking 10 lessons per week across a wide selection of Special Focus options.
The school must confirm the availability of your chosen accommodation.
If the selected housing is not available for your dates, the school will offer another accommodation option for you to consider.

In a homestay, you will live with local English speakers, and experience an authentic lifestyle. You will live as your hosts live, eat what they eat and spend time at home together. Many students enjoy the home-cooked food and extra feeling of security in a homestay.

Each Apartment included in the Santa Monica Downtown Apartments feature a unique architecture style to add to your experience in Los Angeles.
Filled with modern appliances and designer finishes, the apartments are steps away from restaurants, shopping, the arts, culture and the beach. You are also only a 10-minute walk from EC.
The residences offer fully furnished, shared rooms, cleaned bi-weekly.
Situated in the middle of beautiful, vibrant Santa Monica, one of Los Angeles's most coveted beach neighborhoods, Santa Monica Downtown Apartments are a casual yet sophisticated community for an upscale, coastal lifestyle.
Students will have a fully supplied kitchen with utensils, such as spoons, bowls, knives, forks, plates, cups, pans and pots. The standard economy single room is typically a smaller room than the comfort single room and may have been a living room space which has been converted into a split bedroom.
Note: These apartments are co-living apartments, with just a shared kitchen.
