Maximum of 10 students per class for personal, individualized and student centered lessons. Teachers are highly-qualified, certified,passionate and professional. Open to all levels from Beginner to Advanced and classes start on most Mondays. Planned social outings and “Hot Topics” are woven into the daily lessons for real world practice. Study all English skill areas including: Reading, Writing, Listening & Speaking. Part-time and Full-time options available.
You can choose to study:
- in the morning from 8 to 13:00
- in the afternoon from 14:00 to 19:00
- in the evening from 17:00 to 22:00
Students that chose the General English program from 12- 27 hours per week can upgrade to one of these premium courses, if they want, and by having a minimum of CLA Level 4 (B1). When they upgrade to one of the elective parts of the student timetable will be dedicated only to these premium courses which means 6-12 hours per week from the total hours per week they are taking at CLA.
California Language Academy’s Exam Preparation Programs are specifically designed for international students who want to further their education at an American college or university, or for students wanting to advance within their companies or career.
They can help you prepare for the TOEFL iBT, IELTS, CAE/FCE and TOEIC or any other English proficiency Exam.

If the selected housing is not available for your dates, the school will offer another accommodation option for you to consider.

This is a very comfortable residence, which is located very close to the educational building.
You are given:
- Regular cleaning service. Washer, dryer, and parking lot (garage) available (extra cost);
- Work and Entertainment: shared computer, Wi-Fi/internet;
- Fully furnished space: kitchen, working space, lounge area, library, patio. All utilities included: electricity, water, trash, gas.
- Options are subject to availability. Deposit (when applicable) and cleaning fee must be paid before student arrival.

It is an apartment complex walking distance to the CLA Campus (15-20 minutes walking). Each apartment has two bedrooms and students can choose the double or the triple option in super modern and fully furnished units!
SOTA Westwood is a cozy co-living location with shared rooms for 4 people and capsule beds. The building is just 10 minutes from Santa Monica, The Getty Museum, The Culver City Park, and near the subway and bus station.
The bedrooms have single pod beds, a locker, and a closet. The sharing living room has a sofa, dining room table and TV. Amenities include fully-equipped kitchen, coworking spaces, cleaning service in common areas.
Refundable deposit: $200 (returned within 10 days of check-out).
