Oxford is the most famous university city in the world, and you can be a part of its history by studying at our English school. English students have studied in the city since 1096, giving the place a breathable sense of history and pedigree, while still maintaining a vibrant student community.
Our English school in Oxford is housed in an attractive Edwardian building with three floors and a modern extension. Situated just 10 minutes’ bus ride north of Oxford city center, it also has a beautiful garden and courtyard at the back of the building, perfect for summer barbecues and sports.
English Academic Year courses are nine-month English courses that aim to take you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency.
Immerse yourself in the English language, and spend a year studying and getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by exclusive and specially designed study materials.
Course length:
9 months (32 weeks of tuition and 2-3 weeks break)
Course structure:
- 20 lessons (15 hours) of General English: focus on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening, and speaking;
- 7 sessions (5.25 hours) of K+ tools, K+eXtra and K+ clubs: Self-study time with access to exclusive materials and resources along with personalized sessions for you study the areas you most need help with, including exam techniques and study group work.

Nestled in a quiet spot yet close to the city centre, Student Castle is in an idyllic Oxford location, close to charming pubs and historical landmarks. Less than a 5 minute walk into town will take you to the centre of the City of Dreaming Spires where famous landmarks such as The Radclie Camera and Christchurch College are easily explored.
The residence boasts stylish, ensuite bedrooms and spacious, shared kitchens. WiFi, bills and contents insurance are all included in the price. Student Castle has a gym to keep it in, study areas to continue your studying and a common room to relax and unwind at the end of the day.
