d’Overbroeck’s is a highly successful and well respected British day and boarding school in Oxford.
d’Overbroeck’s modern sixth form centre, completed in September 2017, boasts high-quality facilities perfect for summer school. It is ideally located just a 15-minute journey away from Oxford City Centre to enable students to explore Oxford and the surrounding areas.
The Engineering stream of Young Professionals aims to equip students for a future career in engineering. Through a combination of theory-based teaching and practical workshops, students explore different branches of engineering, including mechanical, electronic and civil engineering.
Through projects such as making mini hydraulic bridges or building battery-powered vehicles, students grow confidence in solving practical engineering problems. Students also enjoy engineering-focused day trips, such as touring the world-famous Mini Factory or programming a Mars robot ‘rover’ at We The Curious.
