This course is exclusively for participants aged 30 and over, with an average age of around 40. This 1-week course is for qualified, experienced lawyers, who have a reasonably confident command of English. Typically, course participants need to develop their oral and written skills to communicate complex legal ideas and concepts to partners, clients and colleagues in a variety of formal and less formal contexts including meetings, negotiations, and networking events.
Legal English 30+ covers a range of legal topics with a focus on case studies, negotiations, contract drafting and litigation.You will improve your ability to communicate legal language more effectively and also cover the language skills you need to interact confidently in a wide range of formal and informal situations.

The TOLES (Test of Legal English Skills) preparation course is a highly intensive, one-week course designed to prepare you thoroughly for the TOLES exam. You will focus on examination techniques for all sections of the exam. The TOLES exam is an internationally recognised exam accredited by the Law Society of England and Wales.TOLES is an ideal
qualification for legal professionals who wish to demonstrate concrete evidence of their ability to cope with everyday legal tasks and situations in English. Course duration is 1 week.
+ £150 exam fee and special materials.
Starting dates in 2019: 28 January, 25 February, 25 March, 20 May, 24 June, 22 July, 19 August, 23 September, 11 November.
The exam takes place on the last day of the course.
The school must confirm the availability of your chosen accommodation.

Importantly, school also carefully check feedback to make sure that course participants who stay in homestay are happy and that standards remain high.
Every morning you will be able to sit down at the kitchen table with family during breakfast and discuss any subject of interest as well as giving information or advice on places to visit.
You will have breakfast with the family, but you can also arrange evening meals,if you want to.
