Brighton is a seaside resort with a wide range of things to do and places to visit. From beachfront fun, to iconic tourist attractions, Brighton boasts a 19th century Royal Palace and a famous pier, cool independent shops and cultural art galleries. All of this just an hour south of London! With a generous selection of activities for youngsters, this coastal experience provides a great opportunity to learn English in an eccentric city that caters to all tastes.

Set on a cliff top with dramatic sea views to the south and the beautiful South Downs to the north, Alpadia Brighton camp combines the best of both worlds! The buildings of Alpadia Brighton are traditional and classic but the interiors chic, with large classrooms, high ceilings and comfortable social spaces, where students can relax with friends or surf the internet available throughout. Outside from Alpadia Brighton camp, there are acres of fields to practice every sport imaginable, or where you can simply relax and enjoy the sea breeze.

With morning classes every weekday, the focus is placed on the active exercise of the language allowing for rapid progress of communication skills. Combined with sports, activity-packed afternoons and entertaining evenings, students are sure to pick up English fast and make new friends in the process!

Every weekday afternoon features a sporting or cultural activity:

• basketball;

• badminton;

• football;

• swimming;

• volleyball;

• handball;

• beach games;

• sightseeing;

• excursions.

With a generous daily choice of activities, the programme is carefully designed to make best use of the camp's fantastic facilities while ensuring you experience what Brighton has to offer.

Three times a week afternoons are allocated to the optional Premium+ activities (extra-payment): Watersports plus, Creative Arts and Football.

Summer Program
From 10 to 17 years old 14 students per class 1 lesson — 45 minutes

Learning English at Alpadia Brighton offers the perfect opportunity to learn the language in a quality seaside location. Dynamic teachers of Alpadia camp will provide students with the skills they need to improve language, build up confidence and use their knowledge in the native English environment. Alpadia Brighton’s project focus will ensure students work together with other students from all over the world and excursion lessons will prepare students to take their skills outside when experiencing all Brighton has to offer.

English classes runs Monday to Friday from 8.30 am till 12.30 am.

Two type of courses are offered by Alpadia Brighton camp:

• Standard (20 lessons per week). Every weekday benefit from three hours of language classes (4 lessons) in small groups with motivating and dynamic teachers.

• Intensive (25 lessons per week). Benefit from an additional lesson per day, focused mainly on oral communication and the development of common projects. Five extra lessons each week are ideal for gaining maximum benefit from group classes and encourage rapid progress.

Included in the price of the course: full board accommodation, 24-hour supervision, welcome pack, tuition and course material, assessment test, language certificate, student card, pocket money service, included package of activities and excursions, like a London tour, and an optional tour to Brighton, Cambridge or Oxford*.

*For stays of one week only, the Sunday excursion is not included.

Residence accommodation allows students to have a highly enriching experience of community life, away from their parents! Usually located on a campus that offers plenty of games and communal areas, students will have lots of opportunities to mingle with other international students, sharing fun and laughter together. Girls and boys sleep in separate areas and are supervised by friendly and professional staff members of Alpadia Brighton camp.

At Alpadia Brighton, students will be accommodated in comfortable and renovated English houses, in single or twin bedrooms with shared bathrooms. Each house contains attractive lounge areas, where students can mix with newly made friends, or a hobbies room if they prefer to play board games. The furniture is modern and comfy and each house is only a stone's throw away from the classrooms and dining hall. At Alpadia camp, the accommodation is bright, relaxed and safe.

On request and depending on availability, students may be accommodated with a friend.
