EC Brighton is bright, stylish and modern school, located just two minutes away from all that makes this destination so popular: the seafront with its iconic Brighton Pier, The Royal Pavilion, The Lanes and an incredible variety of restaurants, bars and clubs.
EC Brighton has an international reputation for quality tuition and excellent teachers. The friendly and professional atmosphere you will find at school is what makes it a perfect place to learn English. As an EC student, you will be invited to a free welcome event and enjoy a varied calendar of social and leisure activities throughout your stay. Some of the many activities available include: Pub Night, Brighton Walking Tour, Country Walk, EC Party.

Taking the time to seriously focus on your English will open up unlimited opportunities for you. You will develop fluency, accuracy and appropriate uses of English across all four language skills. You will benefit from excellent guidance, monitoring and feedback throughout this course. As your English and your confidence improve, you will broaden your horizons and gain a huge advantage in your chosen career or education.
Studying abroad will also give you incredible experiences. You will challenge yourself, become more independent and make lasting international friendships.
Lessons per week: 20 (15 hours), 30 (22.5 hours). 20 lessons of General English + 10 Special Focus lessons.
Course duration: 24 weeks minimum
The school must confirm the availability of your chosen accommodation.
If the selected housing is not available for your dates, the school will offer another accommodation option for you to consider.
I don't need housing
In a homestay you will live with local English speakers, and experience an authentic lifestyle. You will live as your hosts live, eat what they eat and spend time at home together. Many students enjoy the homecooked food and extra feeling of security in a homestay. Staying with local people means you will practise your English with native speakers at home in a very natural way.
Learn more about the local culture and be exposed to a rich variety of cultural learning opportunities. Experience day-to-day family life: activities, holiday celebrations and local cuisine. Get personal care and attention in a caring, comfortable, home environment. Staying in a home means you always have someone there to support you. Enjoy a relaxing atmosphere at home. Living with your host will give you stability, plus a quiet and peaceful environment for relaxation and study.

Mitre House is located in the very centre of Brighton, a short walk from the beach and very close to the main shopping centre of Brighton. It is perfectly located for easy access to Brighton’s main attractions, shops and famous nightlife. You will find a mixed gender residence offering single occupancy of double rooms. All bedrooms have en-suite showering/toilet facilities. Rooms share communal kitchen/TV lounges. Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. There is a student lounge with a TV, and vending machines with snacks and cold/hot drinks.
Mitre House is a 15 minute walk from EC Brighton or a 11 minute journey using public transport. It is a 7 minute walk from the city centre or a 7 minute journey using public transport to Mitre House.
