Patong Language School was founded in 1983 (yep, we’re probably older than some of you). We’ve grown a lot since our days in a small hut by the beach but one thing remains the same: we are still Phuket’s leading language school.
We’ve nabbed the very best teachers on the island to ensure you have the best learning experience possible, so if you’re thinking about studying a language in Phuket, look no further than Patong Language School.
We may be biased but we’re pretty sure there’s no better spot than Patong Beach, Phuket, to mix language study with leisure. There’s a reason we set up shop here all those years ago and never left – we love it. It’s vibrant, it’s fun, it’s buzzing with energy and excitement.

In this course you will develop all your skills and will be able to write, write and listen to native speakers. The main focus is speaking as a lot of students have difficulty with it.

Private English lessons are ideal if you prefer one-on-one tuition or can't attend one of the group class options. Pace of study and selection of study materials is decided by you.
Private English classes can start any day at any time, depending on teacher availability. Note: classes are Monday to Friday only. Study books cost extra.
Each lesson is 50 minutes in duration. No more than 2 lessons per day are recommended, unless you are on a tight schedule.
This beginner course is 15 Thai lessons spread over 5 days at 3 lessons per day. Lessons are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the first week, and Tuesday and Thursday in the second week.
Class times are 10.00 am until 12.50 pm, with 10 minute breaks at 10.50 am and 11.50 am.
The Thai Foundation course book uses simple phonetics to get you speaking from day one. You’ll start off with Thai pronouns and verbs to make short statements, then progress to negatives and question forms. You’ll learn how to count in Thai, and use adjectives to describe objects. In just 2 weeks of study you get a good grounding in the basics of the Thai language.
The school must confirm the availability of your chosen accommodation.
If the selected housing is not available for your dates, the school will offer another accommodation option for you to consider.

Unfortunately, there were not any after-class events in the school, but only classes. But the course and the teachers were at the highest level! I easily increased the level of English. Amazing school!
