LAL Cape Town School located in a safe neighbour Sea Point, just in two minutes of walking from the beach and 10 minutes drive from the city centre and one of Seven Natural Wonders - starling Table Mountain. A ten-minute walk from embankments, restaurants, supermarkets, drug stores, nightclubs, and pubs.
LAL Cape Town occupies a beautiful heritage building which offers outstanding facilities and services on-site, adding even more comfort during the student’s stay. The school has 15 classrooms which hold a maximum of 12 students in each room.
LAL Cape Town school has:
- a student lounge with a beautiful view;
- a cafeteria, available for all students;
- a school library in the garden with lots of books.
The school also has a barbecue area and a swimming pool, which you can use whenever you have no lessons.

The General English course syllabus 20 lessons per week, each lesson 45 min, and designed to improve the students' understanding of the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. By the end of the course, students will see an overall improvement in their English.
Learn English on a journey through South Africa. Explore the highlights of the famous Garden Route while being in the company of an English teacher for the entire duration of the tour, enabling a better understanding of English.
The course is for Pre-intermediate (A2) + students, aged 16 years or older who
want to enjoy the delights of South Africa while also having some English language lessons.

• Course length: 5 days. Pre arrival and post departure accommodation is not included in the price

Day 1: Cape Town to Sedgefield via Hermanus (Whale Route, Brewery, Farmlands, Beach time).
Day 2: Oudtshoorn Day (Trip Little Karoo, Cango Caves, Ostrich Farm, Wildlife Rehabilitation Ranch).
Day 3: Sedgefield – Jeffreys Bay (Monkey Sanctuary, Elephant Sanctuary, Kloofing, Bloukrans Bungee jumping & Tsitsikamma National Park).
Day 4: Jeffreys Bay – Addo National Park – Sedgefield (Safari at Addo National Park), Surfing, Shopping Time at Jeffreys Bay).
Day 5: Sedgefield to Cape Town (Canoe and Hike).

4-bed, twin and single rooms are available with shared and en-suite bathroom on site. Accommodation bookings start on Sundays only. Lunch is served Monday to Friday at LAL (at extra charge).
Host families are located in Cape Town, mainly in Sea Point and Green Point.
Check-in after 14.00. Check-out before 10.00. Other times by arrangement. Breakfast is always included. Evening meals may be booked in advance at an additional cost. There are single and twin rooms available. Each room has an adequate wardrobe and drawer space for each student’s possessions and a study desk. Shared rooms are only available for students booking together. Most rooms are with shared bathroom, always including a shower, basin and WC. En-suite bathrooms are available on request for single rooms at a supplement fee. Internet access and telephones are not normally available. Students are issued with a key to their room and host home on arrival. Assistance with laundry can be offered at an extra charge, but reasonably priced local launderettes are also available nearby. Clean bed linen and towels provided once a week. Bedrooms are cleaned once a week and students are responsible for keeping their room tidy. No deposit required. Damage should be paid for at cost.
