Cavendish School of English Malta is located in the center of the capital of Valletta. In the immediate vicinity of the school there are cafes, restaurants, shops and a bus stop. The school offers classes with a small number of students. Therefore, teachers can monitor the training of each student.
Cavendish School of English Malta has a terrace for students. On this terrace it is nice to sit in the evening with a cup of tea and share impressions with new friends.

General English programmes are the most popular courses and are especially suitable for adult participants (aged 16 and older), who want to make maximum progress in a short time. It is ideal for anyone, who doesn’t want to improve their English for a specific professional purpose (ESP), since the focus is on the development of communication skills in daily situations.
All students who successfully complete a course at Cavendish School of English receive a Certificate of Achievement, in accordance with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
Students will be able to practise their newly-learned skills and vocabulary in a relaxed and supportive classroom environment and in the Cavendish Conversation Club (4 lessons).
Examination courses (FCE, CAE, IELTS) concentrate on real language situations using a wide variety of materials including video, contemporary literature, newspapers and materials specifically designed by your course teacher to enhance your abilities and skills.
Lessons are available all year and they are designed to prepare you for examinations held in March, June and December.
During this course, the experts will acquaint you with the structure of the exam you need and will tell you how to best distribute time in the exam to complete all tasks.
IELTS examinations are held most months. This means, whenever you have reached the required level you can be entered for the examination.
The required level of English for the IELTS course is usually Upper Intermediate.
Examination fees are not included.
This highly intensive course is for busy managers and executives who need to be able to use English in a range of commercial situations. The course provides a high level of input from business publications, respected excerpts from various fields, and uses case studies for discussion and English language development. A thorough needs analysis will be carried out on arrival as the course will be specially designed to suit the specific business needs of the students.
The course includes 4 additional lessons for the development of conversational skills in English.
The school must confirm the availability of your chosen accommodation.
If the selected housing is not available for your dates, the school will offer another accommodation option for you to consider.

Accommodation with private hosts is the ideal way of really getting to know the Maltese culture and local life. It also ensures students practise speaking English language outside of lessons too.
It is possible to choose a regular host family or with improved living conditions with a large room and free Wi-Fi. You can choose between double and single occupancy.
*Christmas supplement in homestay accommodation: €85 per person per week in single room accommodation.

Roof terrace apartment is at the top of the school building and offers fantastic views across this beautiful city. You can rent one room or the whole apartment. It has two bedrooms (1 double bedroom and 1 twin with balcony), a fully equipped kitchen with dining table, comfortable lounge, bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. If you decide to only rent one room then get ready to make friends as you may be sharing the communal areas with another student.
The two spacious roof terraces are a wonderful addition to this charming apartment, they are the perfect place to relax and enjoy the views after a day studying.
There is also an additional cleaning fee of EUR 40.

Awful host family! It took up to 1h30 on a bus to get to school. The staff treated us like the criminals. We got ill, but they made a police report because we were absent for a few days. Then we were forced to go home, we got deported! Such a horrible school had shown the absolute disregard!
