EC Dublin also supports the Dublin Institute of Technology’s (DIT) International Pathway Programmes (IPP) for students seeking further academic studies. Once EC students reach the appropriate language level for the DIT course, they are accepted into the IPP. Upon successful completion of their EC course, students are not required to take further IELTS/TOEFL tests to enter the IPP.

On the General English course, you attend a core of 20 lessons per week, which will give you a practical understanding of the English language and take you all the way to fluency. Your confidence will improve as teachers train you in all four communication skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

IELTS exam classes in Dublin focus on three key areas to help you achieve a great score quickly and easily: helpful exam strategies, effective exam thinking, and studying only the English you need to pass the test.
An IELTS qualification is required by most British, Canadian, Australian, Maltese and South African universities, and in some cases, American academic institutions.
IELTS is often required by professional bodies and is needed for immigration for Canada and Australia.
This course is made up of 30 lessons (22.5 hours) per week including the General English classes. It also allows you to personalise your course by taking 10 lessons per week across a wide selection of Special Focus options.
The school must confirm the availability of your chosen accommodation.
If the selected housing is not available for your dates, the school will offer another accommodation option for you to consider.

In a homestay you will live with native speakers, and experience an authentic lifestyle. You will live as your hosts live, eat what they eat and spend time at home together. Many students enjoy the homecooked food and extra feeling of security in a homestay.

LIV Dublin is student accommodation with over 200 rooms, located fifteen minutes from Dublin's city centre. Each bedroom has a double bed, ensuite bathroom with a shared kitchen and lounge area. The residence has a comfortable, large study lounge and café, as well as a cinema and events room for when the study is over and the fun begins!
There is also a gym. If you have any problems there is a team at the reception desk 24/7 to help you with anything you need. The LIV Dublin residence is located on Church Street, just minutes away from the cool area of Smithfield. The area is well-connected to the city centre by bus and tram.
There are cafés, restaurants and bars nearby if you would prefer to stay close by. Many famous tourist attractions, such as Kilmainham Gaol, Collins Barracks and Jameson Distillery, are all within walking distance from the residence.

Unfortunately, I have nothing to compare it with, but the teachers at this school, in my opinion, are wonderful. The classes are interesting and informative. Every student receives a different approach. It's a good school, I can safely recommend :)
