ATC Dublin is located in the heart of Dublin City Centre within walking distance of the city’s most popular attractions and fashionable cafés, restaurants, and pubs. The school itself is located in a modern building that has been completely refurbished and upgraded to provide students with the most comfortable city center experience.

ATC Dublin has 16 bright, modern, and spacious classrooms. Each classroom is equipped with advanced audio and audiovisual technologies, including interactive whiteboards that enable teachers to use the latest technology to enhance students’ learning experience. The educators use the internet regularly in the classes giving students practical examples of how to use their language in the 21st Century.

On the 4th floor, there is a relaxation and recreation space for learners. The light filled student common area is a perfect place for the pupils to meet during breaks and after class and arrange their social activities.

There are also computers on the 4th floor where students can prepare and update their CV. The computers can also be used to log in to ATC Dublin's guided e-learning platform where students can monitor their progress and continue their studies.

Project-based Learning in the Digital Age

Project-based teaching promotes learning across a broad spectrum of knowledge, skills and competencies. Students engaged in project work are given the opportunity to develop their 21st century skills of inquiry, critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, flexibility and leadership. They learn important communication skills of negotiation, mediation, information exchange, and goal-oriented cooperation. The right project is motivational and supports students in self-directed learning.

This course is practical and explores a variety of digital tools to facilitate collaborative online learning, using a project-based methodology. Teachers will learn how to successfully organise and manage a project, from the initial project idea to the final student output. Throughout the course, teachers will look at ways of using technology as a tool in project-based learning, fostering digital literacy skills in their students. The course also focusses on ways teachers can monitor and feedback on language use and work on language development during a project cycle.

The main aim of this course is to help teachers:

- plan and implement a successful project using digital technologies,

- support students in the development of digital literacy skills by using technology to acquire, organise, store, demonstrate, and communicate information,

- support students in their language development during a project cycle.

Cambridge Exam Preparation – B2 First

Students can study and prepare for the Cambridge B2 First Exam with ATC Language Schools. The Cambridge English Qualifications are recognised worldwide by governments, employers, universities and colleges. The exam focuses on the 4 key skills of English, reading, writing, listening and speaking.

ATC’s Cambridge exam preparation course for the B2 First exam is 9 or 12 weeks long. The timetable includes 20 hours of lessons per week. The full course will develop the skills students will use during the exam, enhance the students’ comprehension and fluency of using English language and allow them to practice the exam techniques required.

Each Cambridge B2 First exam preparation course is planned to align with an exam offered locally, ATC can arrange the exam additionally to the course.
