In this course, you will learn vocabulary, expand your listening and fluency skills, prepare, write and deliver presentations and expand your overall English language skills, while focusing on a combination of leadership and environmental topics. What can one person do? What can awareness bring us? How can we work together as a team to make change happen? In this course you will challenge yourself to discuss and reflect on the environmental issues current on the North West Coast of Canada.
The program designed for medical students and professionals who want to develop their medical English. It will provide students with special English terminology, listening and speaking skills required to communicate effectively with patients and other medical professionals in order to provide medical care. In each certificate, students will learn new terminology that they will put into practice by exploring medical case studies and describing patient conditions. The course will help you gain the ability to describe and explain medical symptoms and procedures in English. Role-plays can be adapted to meet students’ individual learning objectives and needs, depending on their professional backgrounds.
Level: Intermediate B2+.
Each certificate is four weeks long. You will earn a Certificate in Medical English for each session you complete, and if you complete all three certificates — 12 weeks, you will receive the Medical English Diploma. It is not necessary to complete these certificates sequentially, which gives you the flexibility to enter into the program at the start of any new session.
