Greystone College’s Diploma in Hospitality Management program is an intensive diploma program designed specifically to meet the vast employment needs, both staff and managerial, in the global tourism, hospitality, resorts and conventions markets.
Hospitality is one of the fastest-growing industries and largest areas of employment in the world. Students will be prepared for a variety of hospitality industry positions in guests services, front desk operations, food & beverage, housekeeping, event coordination, administration and more.
You will also obtain the internationally recognized American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) certificates.

Graduates will gain an excellent understanding of the essentials of business management. This program prepares students to enter the world of business management and looks at the current global business environment. Students will discuss global issues, prepare presentations, do team projects, and extend their research skills. Graduates of the program are eligible to apply for the Certificate in Supervisory Management from the Canadian Institute of Management.

Daytime Program: 50 weeks
24 weeks academic study + 24 weeks paid work experience + 2 weeks academic study (post-placement feedback)
Entry Requirements:
Students who are interested in attending Greystone College must have a secondary school diploma, GED or mature student status.
International Students must demonstrate an Advanced 1 level of English with Greystone College’s online written and speaking test.
Co-op program includes:
Documentation support, interview & job preparation, résumé building, & monitoring during the placement portion of the program.

Program Description:
This program will prepare you for success in workplaces driven by customer relationships, providing a pathway to work in organizations such as restaurants, hotels, motels, clubs, pubs, cafes, coffee shops and retail stores. With this qualification, students will be able to specialize in areas such as accommodation services, food and beverage and retail, or put their diverse skills to support the needs of small businesses. Students will learn effective communication skills, how to manage conflict and handle customer complaints, how to work in a team, and how to build product and service knowledge in order to provide relevant information to customers.
Entry Requirements:
• Students who are interested in attending Greystone College must have completed (graduated from) their final year of general schooling or GED, or have mature student status.
• International students must demonstrate a Beginner 4 level of English with Greystone's online written test and interview. The online test is exempt if CLB 4, IELTS 4 or ILSC Beginner 4 is presented.
• If an applicant fails to meet the minimum requirements, they cannot be waived by either the institution or the student.
Co-op program includes:
Permit sponsorship, documentation support, interview preparation, résumé building, job preparation, job search tips and monitoring throughout the co-op placement.

Staying in a Homestay in Canada will give you an excellent opportunity to practice your English conversation skills and experience Canadian culture and family life. The Homestay families are located in areas of Vancouver, Toronto, and Montréal, Canada, between 40-60 minutes from the school; these homes are safe, secure, inspected and approved by the Student Accommodation Program Coordinators.
Your Homestay family in Canada will be different from your own, so we ask that you be prepared to adjust to a new household routine, different foods, and new rules. You will become one of the family! Mai Lodging offers 6 locations in the city of Vancouver. All locations are accessible by public transportation and are 20–45 minutes commute time to ILSC. All rooms are furnished with a bed, desk and some storage space for your belongings, and have shared bathrooms, kitchen area and a common area to hang out with other international visitors living in the residence.

This is a very nice place to study. There are courses like Tourism and Hospitality, and Business available. The teachers were really great and helpful. I hope everyone will enjoy studying there too and have as good experience as I had :)
