International House London is a prestigious 9-floor language school in central London, existing since 1959. IH teaches English and prepares students for IELTS, CAMBRIDGE and OET exams from more than 100 countries, and also trains teachers and employees of organizations. Only 5% of school students are Russian-speaking.
International House London is one of the largest and most prestigious language centers in London, located in the heart of the capital - Covent Garden. In 2018 the expert company of the British Council awarded the school with one of the best ratings, putting it in the top 1% of UK language schools.
Today IH London is:
1. One of the largest IELTS test providers in Europe;
2. The world's largest provider of qualification CELTA for teachers (CELTA was established at International House London);
3. The center for learning business and specialized English for employees of corporate organizations;
4. Center for the training of children from the age of 8 (summer camps are located throughout the UK from Oxford to Edinburgh)
Today the school occupies 9 floors and has 53 classrooms, each of them equipped with air conditioning and an interactive whiteboard. The school also has a modern cafe.
International House London is a non-profit organization that was established in 1959. It reinvests all of her funds into her premises and staff, as well as funding scholarships and projects around the world.
IH London is proud of its teachers: many teachers are not only experienced specialists in English, but they also teach other native teachers as well as teachers from around the world. In addition, many IH teachers themselves compiled and published various textbooks (Cutting Edge, English Unlimited, Headway), dictionaries and reference books.
This Pre-Holiday 2-Day Intensive course is an ideal introduction to the French language and culture for holiday makers and short business trips. The course is designed for complete beginner students who have never studied the language before.
School's French language classes are dynamic and engaging, and are planned and delivered by qualified, experienced teachers, who will speak in the target language almost exclusively to allow for total immersion.
This course is created for your individual needs. Tell the school stuff the IELTS score you would like to achieve and they will create a study plan with you to work towards it.
The programme concentrates on the academic language you will need to succeed in the IELTS test. You will cover test strategies and how to approach each task type in the exam.
As well as building confidence, you will have extensive practice in the following areas covered in the test:
- reading
- listening
- writing
- speaking
This IELTS preparation course is made up of intensive lessons focusing on the academic skills – reading, listening, speaking and writing English – needed to gain the results you need from the IELTS test.
Students have access to class materials through school's online platform during their course.
Students are given a mock exam in the final week.

Spanish Club is an Advanced course for students who have studied the Spanish language to a high level and wish to work on fluency. Spanish Club requires that you have previously studied a course of at least 252 class hours.

Homestay is where a homeowner welcomes a student into their home, as a full member of the household, providing a room for the duration of the student's course. A homestay gives the opportunity to live with local people and experience life in a London home. For students, homestay is a cost-effective way to stay in London. You can choose a single room, or a shared room if you and a friend are booking together.
All of homestay providers will provide:
- a well ventilated and comfortable bedroom;
- adequate storage space, including hanging and drawer space;
- a table for private study;
- access to a bathroom, with bath or showers;
- a change of towels and bed linen each week;
- access to a washing machine, weekly;
- use of the common living areas and privacy in your own room (single rooms only).

Chapter Living Islington is a modern and welcoming student residence located in vibrant north London in Zone 2. It is moments from Caledonian Park and is just one stop away from King’s Cross St. Pancras station, making it the ideal location for easy connections across the city. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom and access to a shared kitchen.

Set among offices and apartment buildings, this laid-back seasonal hostel is a 4-minute walk from a tube station, 9 minutes away on foot from Regent's Park and 15 minutes' walk from Madame Tussauds London.
The compact, streamlined rooms feature Wi-Fi, in-room sinks, and shared bathrooms or wet rooms. Linens are included. Some rooms have stair access only.
Amenities consist of communal kitchens, and guest lounges with TVs and foosball, along with a courtyard garden.
