The goal of this course is to learn practical, real-world English quickly, intensively, and enjoyably, with a curriculum that combines grammar with everyday useful vocabulary and phrases, covering all the essential aspects of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. In general group courses, the lessons cover everyday topics and their related vocabulary; grammar points and how to integrate them successfully in conversation; useful phrases, expressions, and natural-sounding question and responses; and techniques and correction to improve your pronunciation and intonation.
So, it is especially suited to students of who want a good foundation in English in a wide variety of language areas. The main aim of the General English language courses is to help students communicate well in everyday situations both in a native English speaking and non-native English-speaking environment. General English programs are available for levels of ability from beginner to advanced students.

ACE English Malta offers a number of shared apartments (with three or four bedrooms) all situated within walking distance of the school. Some apartments form part of larger complexes whereas other apartments are standalone units within apartment blocks. The ACE English Malta apartments are modern and include fully equipped kitchens, free high speed wifi, a TV with international cable channels, etc.
Bed linen, towels and cooking utensils are provided, and the accommodation is cleaned once a week. The ACE English Malta apartments have fans and heaters.
A refundable damage deposit of €100.00 (cash) is required from every
student. This must be paid at the school reception on the first day of school and will be returned on the last day pending any issues relating to the apartment.
Please note that for this type of accommodation it is required to book a transfer from and to the airport.
For those who want an experience slightly different to an apartment, school also provide host families in Malta who are eager to share their home with language-learners.
Carefully selected host families allow students the opportunity to practice their English on a daily basis. Living with a host family and immersing oneself in family life can be a fulfilling experience that can build lifelong friendships. An experience not to be missed! A student’s stay with a host family is a very important part of their experience in Malta.

Host families' homes are usually situated within walking distance of the school. Families are all licensed by the Malta Tourism Authority and are regularly inspected to ensure that standards are maintained, and students are provided with the quality expected. All the families are genuinely concerned about the students’ well-being and interested in learning more about different cultures, so that you feel welcome, comfortable, and ready to make some memories.
