Situated in just 2 minutes from the famous Dublin Spire, Twin Dublin is a fantastic place to study English and have an incredible experience.
Located on North Great George's Street in Dublin, Twin English Centre Dublin (formerly Alpha College of English) is situated in a beautiful Georgian building. Students at this centre can enjoy the beautiful Georgian architecture of this school. Built in the early 19th century, classrooms offer a hint of the old, with modern technology throughout.
This area is famous for protecting its history and architecture and is right in the heart of Ireland's capital city. The school is only moments away from the Temple Bar area, the National Gallery of Ireland and St Stephen's Green.
General English course is the most popular choice if you want to improve your core English skills. This course is aimed at increasing your confidence in using the language on a day-to-day basis so that you are comfortable in environments where you need to use English, whether this is for work, travel, or study.
Twin's General English course includes language placement assessment comprising grammar, oral, and writing, regular progress monitoring, certificate of achievement, personalized assessment, Twin social program, and fortnightly tutorials which will take place with your teacher.
Available in our Twin English Centre Dublin, students can study for a whole academic year, which is 25 weeks of tuition and 8 weeks of holiday.
Students have 2 course options to choose from. Morning course options include 20 lessons (15 hours) per week of either General English or Exam Preparation. Afternoon course options are limited to 20 General English lessons per week.
General English + English for work course offers 28 lessons per week.
Besides General English lessons, which take place from Monday to Friday in the morning (9:00-12:30), students will have special lessons focused on work language on Tuesday and Thursday from 13:30 to 17:00, and also on Fridays, students can attend an optional workshop that is always held from 13:30 to 15:00.
General English classes are focused on increasing your confidence in using the language on a day-to-day basis so that you are comfortable in environments where you need to use English, whether this is for work, travel, or study. You will improve 4 main language skills, such as writing, listening, reading and speaking.
English for work lessons aim to improve your confidence and enhance your communication skills. You will have the opportunity to learn the workplace language. There will be simulated real-life working situations, allowing you to practice email writing, handling phone calls, attending meetings and providing excellent customer service.
This course is designed for those who are required to use English in their job or for those taking internships or apprenticeships in an English speaking country.
