EF Playa‑Tamarindo campus is a tropical campus set in a former resort near a lush forest with exotic wildlife. It enjoys an unbeatable location just a 10-minute walk from stunning beaches and the town centre.
Students can relax and socialize in on-site facilities including a cafeteria, student lounge, and library, as well as a private swimming pool, sundeck, and tropical garden. Located in the beach town of Tamarindo and surrounded by beautiful nature, the campus offers personalized study options from 2 to 52 weeks for all language levels.
This course of 26 weekly morning and afternoon lessons (total tuition time of 17 hours and 20 mins) is designed to help you advance one language level every six weeks.
General Language Lessons build your grammar and vocabulary through digital and classroom learning. Project Sessions boost your research and communication skills through practical work such as group assignments and presentations. Further improve your listening skills through Lecture Sessions on topics like history and culture. Focus your course with 4 Special Interest Classes or prepare for an official exam.
Combine plenty of free time abroad with 20 weekly morning and afternoon lessons (total tuition time of 13 hours and 20 mins). General Language Lessons build your grammar, vocabulary, and written and spoken communication skills. Project Sessions help you improve your research and communication skills through practical work such as group assignments and presentations. Lecture Sessions improve your listening skills and focus on topics such as current affairs, cultural trends, or history.
Additionally, school's EF Campus Learning platform combines digital learning and classroom lessons to further accelerate your progress.

Our highly structured syllabus, comprised of 32 morning and afternoon lessons a week (total tuition time of 21 hours and 20 minutes), will have you speaking and writing with confidence in the least amount of time.
Our Intensive Course offers the maximum number of Special Interest Lessons, to ensure you successfully achieve your goals while studying abroad. Taught both in class and online, you can take SPIN Lessons focused on language skills, professional development, exam or university preparation or culture and arts.
