The Carl Duisberg Training Center Munich provides tailor made courses, modern teaching methods and high quality language training,
The Carl Duisberg Training Center Munich is situated in the West of the city near to the city center and is easily reached by public transport. The polytechnic is right on the doorstep and it’s also near to the university, the student quarter of Schwabing, and the English Garden.
Carl Duisberg Munich has 21 classrooms, a language lab, and a student lounge. A drinks machine with hot and cold drinks and a cafeteria serving small meals and drinks in the mornings ensure that the course participants don’t go hungry.
The Intensive Course provides you with the German language skills required for further education, to achieve your career goals, and broaden your horizons.
The course consists of 24 classes in groups and 2 workshops per week.
You will acquire basic knowledge of German or develop your existing language skills in a targeted manner. Workshops give you the opportunity to practice language skills, gain a deeper knowledge of grammar, expand your vocabulary, and learn more about current topics relating to culture and society.
Combine the advantages of group lessons with the benefits of one-to-one
lessons in Crash Course. You will be able to make use of a variety of
communication methods you find in a group and set your own priorities in
your individual training. You can choose between 5 and 10 TUs of individual
lessons.

You can stay with a host family, which can be either a family in the classical sense or an individual person or a single parent. The host family can live downtown but can also be located in the suburbs. In a host family, you can also book just breakfast, or half board (breakfast and an evening meal). The meals are typical German cuisine.
You can book lodgings in a private home without meals or with breakfast or with half-board. In many cases, you can prepare smaller meals yourself, but in general, the lodgings do not include the use of the kitchen to do all of your own cooking.
If you have booked a room with breakfast or half-board, then as a rule you will take those meals together with the other members of the family and the other guests. Half board means that you will receive breakfast and dinner. In Germany, breakfast and dinner are, as a rule, not warm meals but rather consist of bread or buns, sausage, cheese and marmalade. Consider it to be a cultural experience to eat the way Germans do.

Training Center in Munich has a residence where students can live, learn, and make friends in a unique, international atmosphere. The residence has 140 furnished rooms. The bathroom and kitchen are shared with other guests. There are many shops conveniently located nearby: supermarkets, bakeries, butcher shops, etc.
Facilities:
- Single room or double room (furnished with bed, closet, desk, chair, bookshelf, refrigerator, sink);
- Bed linen and towels;
- Common rooms are cleaned every day on weekdays and individual rooms, once a week;
- Use of washing machine and dryer for a small fee and shared use of iron and ironing board;
- WiFi.
