I booked a course on the principle of cheaper. There were no other criteria because this is my first such trip and none of my friends and acquaintances did not go to language courses. I chose 30 hours of English per week (20 hours of General English and 10 hours of Conversation English). Classes started at 9.00, every 90 minutes there was a break for 30 minutes. You can have time to go to eat because the school is very well located. On the first day, 90 minutes of classes ate testing and familiarization with the rules of the school. By the way, on the first day, each student pays school 5 Euro for garbage... The Test was held by Alexander with a very chic accent. The test consists of 2 parts: 10 minutes to write something about yourself and 45 minutes for a full test. Next, the school asks to fill out questionnaires and takes a photo of each student. The next day was given a certificate in which the student could get a discount in some restaurants, museums, and so on. I saved about 10 euros, someone even more. Further, all people distributed by teachers based on the level of language. If you found it difficult or too easy, you could easily change the class. Teachers in General English and Conversation English were different. On General English on the first 3 days my teacher was Abbie, but then it turned out that she replaces the main teacher level Pre - Intermediate. Abbie was a very good teacher, very well explained, sometimes distracted us at the game and almost did not give homework. And on the fourth day, she was replaced by returning from vacation Nelson. Here it was a perfect teacher for me. Explained everything slowly, carefully, super clear, gave homework and was very loyal to the students, motivated, praised and helped to understand all the topics. One day he was sick and 2 classes were replaced by 2 different teachers. The first was a good teacher, but for students with a higher level of English. He was an Englishman with a chic accent (forgot the name). The second teacher was Annie and I hated her. Very strange accent, she spoke too fast and she was unstoppable. But the next day, Nelson came back and everything was cool again. The teacher of Conversation English was Tanya. It was quite comfortable. Sometimes easy, sometimes very difficult. But we discussed various interesting topics and time passed quickly. Most often discussed features of different aspects of life of students from different countries and Maltese. The school administration was extremely loyal and friendly. I was impressed by the knowledge of the names of each student and was very surprised by the morning "Hi, Julia" from the Deputy Director of the school. Every 2 weeks, tests were conducted for everyone, you could check the progress or determine the level. My level on the first day was A2, after 2 weeks the test showed in 1. Either in me awakened knowledge that slept, or it is the imperfection of the test system. But the progress is definitely there. I stopped being afraid to talk and talked to people without problems. A special buzz was communication with students. About half of the school was Japanese and Korean, and the other half is European. Russians were not at all. And if on the first day I did not understand them because of the accent, then on the second day everything became normal and all the free time we spent together: preparing national food of different countries, playing games, chatting, traveling around the island or just having dinner. Now I have a lot of new friends from different countries who are eager to communicate and very kind and simple guys. Age was absolutely different, as well as position in society. The youngest was 17, the oldest was 50. The average age was about 30. I basically chose to stay with a host family. I wanted to get myself out of the comfort zone of home and learn more about the life of the local population. I very regretted. With accommodation everything went wrong. In fact, it turned out that in January in Malta at night the temperature drops to +5, and there was no Central heating, air conditioners and heaters were not usually used because of the cost of electricity. In fact, I slept in all the warmth that I had and under three blankets. The first 2 days could not sleep at all, and then shared the problem with friends and I was given Japanese warmers that warm up to 24 hours and sleep was normal. I did not change accommodation then, I wanted to give the place a second chance, and then before leaving there was little time and I scored. I lived in the house of a single woman Carmen in Hamrun. Every day before school walked for 40 minutes, I liked it. The bus can be reached in 10-15 minutes. The hostess in the morning fed only cereal with milk and bread with jam (the other was not accepted, although she did not eat it and had Breakfast separately). She cooked well for dinner. Here I was all arranged. There were many problems with electricity, on arrival in Moscow, I realized that the battery of my computer still burned. It happened that the phone was charging all night and did not charge until the end, because in the sockets often electricity was lost. Hot water was included only if you ask the hostess to heat it, constant access to hot water was not. The reason was expensive electricity. On the last day, my flight was at 6 PM and I discussed with the hostess about the time of my departure. She was not against my departure, but in fact at exactly 12 went into the room, turned off the light and said that my time was over and asked me to leave the room, but allowed to sit on a chair in the kitchen. Because I had an urgent job, I convinced her to give me an hour to finish the job. She agreed, but I left as soon as finished work at the airport. As for accommodation after talking with other students, I can say the following. All who lived in families were dissatisfied. All students were different, but the causes of discontent were about the same: unreasonable savings, not much goodwill. Plus someone didn't like the food and the location. Many who came for a long period, in the end, turned out to be from the family and moved to the apartment, paying extra for their rent. Actually, this option was ideal. There were air conditioners working on heating, cozy and clean. But often in these apartments, we hung out in the evenings, but all the residents were not against. I can not say anything about the hostel, because no one lived there with me. In General, I definitely advise the school, but you can choose accommodation more carefully.....

I went to this school for 2 weeks, and took a Conversation course with an accommodation in a host family and transfer from airport to home due to the late flight arrival (11pm local time). I bought tickets myself. About school: great location, friendly administrators who are willing to help with your every single question. Speaking of teaching staff, I got lucky and my teacher was really positive. We were having fun on lessons and she was explaining everything for people like me in layman's terms (my level was A0). The lessons were held in a playful way, so time was really flying. As I was speaking with other students, I can say that not everyone liked their grammar teacher. And the great thing about this school is that if you don't like your teacher, you can be transferred to another group with a different teacher. Saying this, you problems can be solved; you just have to explain it to an administrator. About host family: I got lucky, and was living on a villa with another girl; the house was big and clean. The distance between the house and the school was 30 minutes on a bus. My package didn't include dinners, because I didn't want to be burdened. My host family was really great, and I practiced my English with them as well. They were always asking if I'm comfortable or if I like everything or need any help. Because of the fact that it was in October, there were only 4-5 students in the house. That's really little :) So in the mornings I was able to comfortably prepare for walks. About English: in 2 weeks I managed to gain A1 level (began with A0). This is huge for me. I wanna say this again: everything depends on you. Don't be afraid! There weren't any Russian students in my group and that was really great for me, because I wanted to fully experience language immersion, and I did. There were students from Japan, France, Switzerland, and Italy. My classmates were also very funny :) We couldn't get enough talking so after lessons we were going to cafes or having walks. It was really interesting and funny! All the students were from different backgrounds: building industry, medicine, engineering, design, IT, students etc. So everyone was great, I learned so much about how people live in other countries :) Besides my classmates, I also met students from other groups (with a high level of English), and I wanna say that that didn't stop us from becoming friends and interacting with each other. They were explaining things I couldn't understand and telling "don’ Worry, Natali". I really believe that you should be open to the world and to the people! We shared our contacts and still in touch to this very moment! Thanx to the manager for helping to make this trip happen! Wishing the team success, good health and prosperity!...

I liked the trip, especially in terms of price/quality. A very good place to stay, just what I wanted. The program was standard, there were language schools where the level of training is higher. All in all, I got everything I paid for. The trip helped to overcome the language barrier and better understand the structure of the English language. There is one tip: for the entrance test at school, it is better to prepare in advance, so as not to get into the group below the level....
