The trip was great, thank you LinguaTrip so much for your help!! Next time, if I am going somewhere (which I AM, that's for sure), I will turn to you.
The host family I lived in (mother and daughter) was just THE best. So friendly and kindhearted people (as all the Irish, on the whole). It was a real pleasure to communicate with them every day, we had so many things to talk about! They became a second family for me, they cared for me and tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The opportunity to communicate with them for a long time every day, listening to "proper" English and to talk a great deal yourself is a big advantage. When I had to leave, it was very touching farewell, because over these three months we got so used to each other... and now they are going to visit me in Moscow, and so are my other friends that I met in Ireland :-)
The school left tons of positive impressions. Great teachers, classes including different types of activities: not only grammar, but also speaking and listening, team games sometimes. When I arrived, I was put into a group of Upper Intermediate. It was difficult at first, not only during the class but also after. As I understood the conversation, I wanted to add something, but my tongue was "tied", so I could not participate in the conversation. After 3-4 weeks I started talking, talking so much that I could not be stopped. On week 8, I was moved to the Advanced group. The school also organizes all kinds of trips and excursions, as an after-class activity. Over the first month I attended almost everything. Then I made so many friends that I could organize my leisure time myself. I can say that I fell in love with Ireland, it has an absolutely unspeakable beauty, every place is different from each other, such a small country, but there's so much to see. The people impressed me as well ..no one is in a hurry, everyone smiles, everyone's friendly and ready to help. The fun thing is that you communicate with different people from different countries every day. Different views, different backgrounds and habits, all of it amazing. Now I have so many friends around the world and so many invitations to visit each country.
Over the three months I spent about 1700 euros on other expenses .
Now I plan to go to work and study for a whole year. Probably next year, since I need to save some for money first. I'll have to think about it, whether to stick to Ireland or to go to another country.
