I liked the school, I took three courses for 5 weeks: Intensive, General and classes with a tutor. I came with 0 level, now it’s B1, very happy with the result! The accommodation is excellent, there is an air conditioning in the room, the conditions are comfortable, just settled in the family where I lived alone as a student, lacked communication, it was boring and not knowing the language was difficult the first time, breakfast - a loaf of bread, I had to eat on my own. There was a lot of fun at school, but it didn't take a part in any of them, all the other guys spoke positively about the activities of the school. Teachers are good. I liked the General course and classes with a tutor very much, and there was no point in taking an Intensive course, since everyone was already tired and used the phone. There were no textbooks, printed sheets were issued, it was convenient, you can take them with you. There were 10 people in a group, it was comfortable. School location is convenient, schedule is good. ...

The lady, my host, met me at Montpellier airport. The house in which we arrived at was nice, with all you need. But it was located pretty far from the city center. You need to spend quite a lot of time on getting to other places. Also you need to check the bus schedule attentively. The cost of weekly pass is 17 euros for land transport. And it is hard to come back to the city for a walk, because the busses run until 8:30 pm and the way home from the tram station takes approximately 20 minutes. Plus in my opinion the neighborhood wasn’t that safe, although I’ve never had any problems with that. As for food, there was only a baguette with confiture and coffee for breakfast. But the dinners were huge and long-lasting. The host was a good cook and it was interesting to try new dishes. I liked my school. We were taken on a city tour on the first day. It was exciting in the study group I got in, the level of English was not too easy, yet not too hard. The teacher was not too strict, but he always kept us active, checked us and corrected the mistakes. The suggested study materials seemed captivating and up-to-date. There are lots of charming places in Montpellier, but I didn’t like it that much. I was more impressed by Avignon and Pont du Gard. My school organized the excursion there which cost 35 euros. The arrangement was good, but I wish to get more information. Not a single word was said during our time spent in a bus. I enjoyed the suburbs Sete and Nimes as well, we went there by train. I wish I could visit other cities on the South of France, too. As for Montpellier itself, I think the Fabre Museum is worth visiting, whereas the Gaumont Cinema is nothing extraordinary. Thebeaches of Montpellier are pleasant: clean with few people. But they are hard to reach as well. It takes nearly one hour with two changes to get to the nearest Carnon beach. If you set off late in the evening, you can wait for a tram for more than one hour. Prices in shops and restaurants seemed the same like in my city and everything closes early. You should be careful even in such decent places like Lafayette Gallery. I was given a torn 50 euro note there. No salesman agrees to accept such notes and in order to exchange it you should come to the Bank of France cash centre, which is operating only on Mondays from 9:00 to 11:30 am. Thank you for helping to organize this trip. ...
