International House Montevideo is located in Uruguay's capital and largest city, Montevideo. Housed in Montevideo's Pocitos district, the school is surrounded by local shops, eateries and is within a 10-minute walk of the beautiful Pocitos beach, coastline, and all of its attractions.
The wonderful large green space of Park Jose Enrique Rodó is a short 20-minute walk from the school's front doors, ensuring students have beaches as well as green spaces, to enjoy during their time in the city.
With over 40 years of teaching experience, International House Montevideo has been teaching Spanish as a foreign language to the highest of standards for many years. The facilities of the school are excellent, including a cafeteria, computer lab, free after-class access to language learning software, a lounge area, garden and a student support desk for any questions or queries that may arise. All classrooms are equipped with heating and ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.
Course selection includes something for students of all levels. Accommodation is readily available through the school in local Homestay accommodation, with a variety of meal plan choices on hand.

The course focuses on the main skills of the language: writing, reading, understanding, and speaking. It is designed so that you make the most of every minute of class and enjoy the experience of learning the language.
