St Giles London Central English school occupies a magnificent 100-year-old building in the heart of fashionable Bloomsbury.
St Giles London Central occupies a magnificent 100-year-old building in the heart of fashionable Bloomsbury and is situated opposite Russell Square, and just a 5-minute walk to the British Museum. From this great location, it is easy for students to explore the capital city - it is within walking distance of famous London landmarks and has great transport links.
St Giles London Central is a large, lively school with an international feel and is perfect for students looking to benefit from modern study facilities and enjoy everything the capital has to offer. There is always a wide range of ages and nationalities at the school, and facilities include a spacious roof garden, a self-access study centre and interactive whiteboards in all classrooms.
There are no classes on Saturdays and Sundays, or on the following public or school holidays: 1 Jan, 10 & 13 Apr, 8 & 25 May, 31 Aug, 25 & 28 Dec
Classes are also suspended between 21-25 December 2020.

St Giles London Central offers courses for non-native speaker English language teachers, who wish to improve their own English skills and develop their professional knowledge. Participants develop and explore aspects of teaching methodology and techniques, and learn to assess and utilise a variety of teaching aids and resources. There is no formal assessment, but participants can choose to prepare for the Cambridge TKT. Your level of English should be at least level B2.
The school must confirm the availability of your chosen accommodation.
If the selected housing is not available for your dates, the school will offer another accommodation option for you to consider.

Due to our central London location, homestays are located on average 45-60 minutes from the centre by public transport.
London is a big city, and is divided into 6 "Zones". Zone 1 is closest to the centre, and Zone 6 is furthest from the centre. St Giles London Central is in Zone 1. It is very unusual to find homestay accommodation in Zone 1, and therefore the majority of our homestays are in Zones 3-5. If you are studying English at London Central, you can live in Zone 1 if you choose one of our student residence or hotel options.

Located just up from the digital hub of Silicon Roundabout, iQ Shoreditch is right in the middle of London’s most innovative and creative district. You can walk to City, University of London in less than 20 minutes, London Metropolitan in 15 minutes, the London College of Fashion in 12 minutes and the University of Law in 10 minutes. The location next to Old Street Tube Station is also a short journey from many other London universities.
The area has some of London’s best bars, restaurants and nightlife as well as great independent shopping. The green space of Shoreditch Park is a short walk away, as is the tranquility of Regent’s Canal.
