Courses

Bayswater Summer School
From 12 to 17 years old 15 students per class 1 lesson — 45 minutes

Our students take 3 hours of English per day (Monday-Friday) in the morning, then every afternoon they will accompany our experienced Activity Leaders visiting all of the major sites and attractions that London has to offer. At the weekend the trips are mostly outside of Central London to places like Windsor, Oxford, Greenwich and Brighton. In total, there are five afternoon excursions from Monday-Friday, followed by one full-day weekend excursion, typically on a Saturday. In the evenings students stay in their homestay accommodation where they can experience British home life.

English courses are specially adapted for the age group of learners so they can make rapid progress in a short time. Classes are interactive, educational and fun with a greater focus on speaking and listening skills. Students have the opportunity to speak as much as possible including practise in pairs, small groups and with the whole class. Reading and writing is practised through course materials and project work. A key focus of our Summer School is to improve students´confidence in English, especially in speaking and listening, whilst experiencing all the best that London and the UK have to offer through an organised social activities programme.

All of our teachers are professionally qualified and well-prepared. They are selected by the Academic Manager for their professionalism, friendliness and enthusiasm. We always choose teachers that are suited to working with young people. They are all checked by the police, qualified to teach according to British Council standards, and know how to get the best out of young people.
