In general, I was pleased by the trip. School is located just in 5 minutes of walking from the city centre. We had classes in college, in which there were 2 schools. Our school had just 60 students. On the first day we had test to determine the language level. Test consists of 2 parts: writing and speaking. After test I was assigned to the Intermediate group. In the school were only small groups: 6-8 students average. There were a lot of students from Argentina; I didn’t really like it. Classes were held from 9am to 5pm (with breaks, of course). Shops usually close at 5-6pm, so I’m often couldn’t buy all what I needed. Teachers are real professionals in their field. The classes were organized in a such way that I was not tired or bored at all. Classes were held in a game form; we often played skits. When the weather was fine, we had classes outside. Throughout the course teachers were changing: in the morning we had one teacher and in the afternoon another, but it didn’t spoil studying. School held entertaining events twice a week: one big excursion (to London, Brighton, Oxford), and one smaller (nearby Folkestone). We had a castle excursion, a little tour and quest. I really liked it. I was living in host family, literally in 5 minutes walking away from school. Family have three children. We get along really quickly. I had breakfast and dinner in family and lunch at school. First week I live in the same room with 3 girls. Room wasn’t really spacious, there were nightstand, wardrobe, and bed, so it was quite poky. Then I was moved to another room with two other girls. In general, there is friendly atmosphere in the school. You can transfer to more advanced group if you feel, that it’s too easy for you. Thank you, LinguaTrip.com, for trip organization!...
