I was in this wonderful school for 4 weeks, I was very pleased with the trip! I was very lucky with living, I was settled in a new house. Breakfast cereals or Nesquik were included for free. The school can be reached on foot in 17 minutes. The school was comfortable, there were one entrance and two exits, places where you could get some rest) The teacher Claudia (the world lady) was a people person. It was comfortable to study on her lessons, everyone switched to English very quickly and communicated without any problems. I very pleased with the result of the trip, progress was visible with the naked eyes. Before the trip, the language level was almost zero, and now I am preparing for IELTS)...

Hello everyone! I liked this school a lot. The transfer is already included, that is a big plus. All classrooms are equipped with smart boards, you can use free Wi-Fi (but the connection is poor sometimes). The school staff is awesome, especially teachers Marco, Sorcha and Cristine. Among the school workers there is one Russian speaking lady named Helen, she was testing our writing skills on the first day. Marco was testing out speaking skills. There are few Russian speaking students, about 6 people in total. Most of the students are from Columbia, Turkey and South Korea. There is a free lesson once a week but you need to enroll (it’s next to the smoking area). My host family was nice. It was a two-storey apartment and I lived on the second floor all alone. The host family was on the first floor. I had 2 rooms and a bathroom to myself as I was the only student there. Two girls from France and one girl from Japan came on the last day. Thank you, Linguatrip. It was great! ...

I’ve been studying at this school for 2 weeks. Came here with an elementary English level. In two weeks I could confidently talk in English, bridged the gaps in grammar and improved pronunciation. I think it’s a great result. Our teacher was Kristina - she’s a teacher with a God-given talent. A teacher explained to us in depth all incomprehensible aspects in grammar (even if you do not understand anything- you will and won’t have questions anymore). I was distributed to a group with a bit lower level of English than I had at that moment because I already had studied some of the materials in Moscow, anyway it was really helpful to back the material back. Kristina always noticed moments when I already had known the material and tried to do the class more interesting or me. For example, she offered to me to explain the meaning of the words or to explain why was used exactly this tense in the sentence. At classes in Malta, I also increased my vocabulary a lot. Everything is taught in details. During my studying in Malta, we wrote 5 essays and took 2 tests. We were playing so many games, listening to songs and just had a lot of interesting stuff to do. We had classes from the early morning: from 9 to 10:30am, 30 minutes break, from 11am to 12:30pm. It was really comfortable for me because after classes I had so many time to walk around Malta. Further, we had an extra class at 3pm on Wednesday. I visited this class just once. At this class, we were talking for 40 minutes and in the remaining time, we used to get to the bottom of our mistakes and pronunciation. To talk about students, my acquaintances had been telling to me that I’m too old for such studying (oh yeah in my thirties I’m already a grandma). But it’s not. In our group all students were older 27, so we didn’t have any difficulties in communication and understanding each other. And from what I saw average age of students at school was 25 and older, also saw two women who were over their fifties. So do not listen to anyone! In our group were 7 people from different countries, so if you want or not, you have to speak in English to understand each other. There are some Russians at school, but not many. Not more than 1 or 2 Russians in a group. Didn’t attend any of school activities, so I can’t say anything about it. Just saw many offers about tours by low prices on the notice board. Was staying on rent by myself. The main thing I want to say to people who have only two weeks of holidays and think that there is no point in going there for such a short period of time. Forget about this silliness. Of course, guys who stay there for few months will be able to learn the language faster and deeper. But it’s worth to go there even for 1-2 weeks! You’ll get an enormous experience of communication. You’ll be surprised by your progress in such a short period of time. I started to speak in English better and better every day. I’m really glad that I had such experience in my life. Definitely will go to such courses again to another country or maybe to Malta once again =) And maybe I’m going to live in the residence of school to study after classes as well....

The school Linguatime Malta has wonderful teachers who gave really interesting exercises on speaking, listening, reading and writing. In my group there were 11 people: from Spain, Turkey, France, Hungary, Slovakia, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea and one girl from Russia. I think we were lucky that we had such a variety of nationalities, that allowed us to learn something new and interesting about other countries.
