This isn't just learning a language. it's a lifetime experience!

Welcome to Limerick International Study Centre (LISC). Founded in January 2011, LISC is accredited by ACELS, a service of Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), for English language teaching (ELT).

Study and play! Join your international classmates to improve your English language skills and experience Irish history and culture on an itinerary that could include a visit to amazing places like the Cliff of Moher, the Burren, Bunratty Castle, Adare Village, Lough Derg or King John's Castle.

We are based in Limerick in the Shannon region of Ireland. Ireland's most unusual landscape is to be found in the Burren and the Hunt Museum in Limerick houses one of the country's most important art collections. History is revealed in the mills and thatched cottages of Limerick's towns while the artists and craft workers of County Clare blend modern design with older skills. And, of course, the River Shannon exerts its quiet influence through the region.

The Shannon Region consists of counties Clare and Limerick . Clare has an abundance of visual riches from the famous river Shannon and Lough Derg which form its eastern boundary and west towards its rugged Atlantic coastline with towering cliffs and golden beaches. Limerick is a county of quiet beauty and rural charm. Its gentle undulating landscape is pleasing to the eye from the beautiful Golden Vale in the east to the tidal estuary Shannon Estuary in the west.

The school is inside the University of Limerick campus. There are good facilities in the university. Many international students. The teachers are all Irish and they are very good teachers. I have learned and improved my English a lot. The afternoon conversation workshops are very good. The school organised interesting activities on Friday like Irish coffee, international food, karaoke, Irish sports, Irish dance and many more. There are not many Spanish students in Limerick so I have the opportunity to speak a lot of English.
