The General English course syllabus is 15 or 20 hours per week and is designed to improve the students' understanding of the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. All levels from elementary to advanced are catered for throughout the year. By the end of the course, students will see an overall improvement in their standard of English and improved confidence in their language ability.

Please note that when booking a course of 25 weeks and more, you will also be required to pay for health insurance (€ 140) and fees for taking the exam after the course (€ 150 Trinity or € 200 IELTS Exam)

IELTS preparation

Perhaps the most important exam in the modern world — for either academic or immigration purposes — IELTS Preparation Courses focus exclusively on intensive practice in examination techniques. Teachers take preparation for this exam very seriously, helping students to master the skills necessary to get the IELTS score they need.

Dedicated IELTS exam preparation available through 15 hour per week courses during morning or afternoon timetables. This flexibility allows students to add General English components to create a more intense course.

Intensive English Courses are the fast track to communicating easily and with greater confidence in English. Teachers use innovative and interactive teaching styles to help students achieve their full potential quickly. If time at school is limited, but there is a need to see a higher level of progression, then choose one of intensive courses, which are specifically designed to accelerate student improvement.

Please note that when booking a course of 25 weeks and more, you will also be required to pay for health insurance (€ 140) and fees for taking the exam after the course (€ 150 Trinity or € 200 IELTS Exam)

Work and Study

This long term course is for non-EEA students who wish to achieve fluency for their work or study over a 25 week period. It focuses on spoken English with structured language input. Apply for permission to stay in Ireland to study for 8 months. This permission allows you to work casually while you study.

• You can work during stay in Ireland. 40 hours per week during the months of June, July and August and also during the period of the 15th December to the 15th January. At all other times students can work 20 hours per week.

• These programmes allow you to achieve fluency for your future work or study through a long period of immersion in the English language.

• Monthly tutorials check you progress and provide you with personal guidance to improve your studies.

• All levels from beginners available.
