2 weeks in Ireland flew quickly. I liked the school. A detailed review of the first week was here already. First a test, a mini excursion, a weekly schedule. I chose the intensive course. 2 lessons in one group with 2 different teachers and 3 lessons with others. I really enjoyed the classes with Kesia and Dave. Ivan is such an Irishman, but also with his own characteristics, a hardcore fan and just a funny person. To say that the level of English in 2 weeks has become better, I hardly can. To feel the effect you must attend classes at least for 2 months. But in any case it was a good first experience.
I did not like living in the family. Firstly, I wished to arrive on Sunday and fly away on Sunday, I was booked from Saturday to Saturday. I do not know whose fault it was, but I had to arrange for another night with my family. There were a lot of rules in the host family. For example, do not shower for more than 10 minutes. Irish people are lovers of potatoes, so be prepared that every dinner will be with potatoes. But they prepared healthy food. I was not close to school. With small traffic jams 45 minutes. Without traffic jams, in the morning on the weekend, it was possible to get to the center in 20 minutes. Week-ticket was 27.5 euros plus 5 euros for the card itself. Honestly, I never ventured to go to the pub in the evening, because if you stay late, the taxi will cost 20 euros, so there is a good chance that at home everyone will go to bed and turn on the alarm for the night and if you do not know or forgot after a couple pints password, then be ready for a deafening meeting at home. Although, all families are different, aren't they?)
