International House London is a prestigious 9-floor language school in central London, existing since 1959. IH teaches English and prepares students for IELTS, CAMBRIDGE and OET exams from more than 100 countries, and also trains teachers and employees of organizations. Only 5% of school students are Russian-speaking.
International House London is one of the largest and most prestigious language centers in London, located in the heart of the capital - Covent Garden. In 2018 the expert company of the British Council awarded the school with one of the best ratings, putting it in the top 1% of UK language schools.
Today IH London is:
1. One of the largest IELTS test providers in Europe;
2. The world's largest provider of qualification CELTA for teachers (CELTA was established at International House London);
3. The center for learning business and specialized English for employees of corporate organizations;
4. Center for the training of children from the age of 8 (summer camps are located throughout the UK from Oxford to Edinburgh)
Today the school occupies 9 floors and has 53 classrooms, each of them equipped with air conditioning and an interactive whiteboard. The school also has a modern cafe.
International House London is a non-profit organization that was established in 1959. It reinvests all of her funds into her premises and staff, as well as funding scholarships and projects around the world.
IH London is proud of its teachers: many teachers are not only experienced specialists in English, but they also teach other native teachers as well as teachers from around the world. In addition, many IH teachers themselves compiled and published various textbooks (Cutting Edge, English Unlimited, Headway), dictionaries and reference books.
This course is designed for International adults age 30 and over, who want to learn or improve their English, while exploring London and making new friends from all over the world.
Lessons are based on the top floors of the school and you’ll have special access to the Executive Centre coffee lounge with its panoramic views of London.
This course is for new or back-to-work teachers who need to boost their confidence by reviewing and extending what was learned on the CELTA or Cert TESOL.
This course is for teachers who want to make great lesson materials for their students or to share with other teachers and the wider ELT community. Get ready to be creative!

Homestay is where a homeowner welcomes a student into their home, as a full member of the household, providing a room for the duration of the student's course. A homestay gives the opportunity to live with local people and experience life in a London home. For students, homestay is a cost-effective way to stay in London. You can choose a single room, or a shared room if you and a friend are booking together.
All of homestay providers will provide:
- a well ventilated and comfortable bedroom;
- adequate storage space, including hanging and drawer space;
- a table for private study;
- access to a bathroom, with bath or showers;
- a change of towels and bed linen each week;
- access to a washing machine, weekly;
- use of the common living areas and privacy in your own room (single rooms only).

There’s a wide range of high-quality rooms to choose from. Opt for an en-suite, and you’ll have your bathroom, plus a fully fitted kitchen and living room to share with your flatmates. Pick a studio, however, and you’ll have everything to yourself. Want to share with a friend? One of the twin studios might be the best choice for you.
Paris Gardens offers modern student rooms and studios in central London, just a 5-minute walk from the River Thames and London Blackfriars train station.You will find a wide range of student accommodation at Paris Gardens, a central London property located 5 minutes' walk from London Blackfriars train station. This site is well located for London South Bank University and King's College London's Waterloo campus, both within 12 minutes' walk. Many other London universities are easily accessible thanks to the nearby Tube, train and bus links. Paris Gardens offers a range of social and study facilities, including a gym where you can build yourself up, and a lounge for you to study and socialise with your mates. There are regular events organised by the onsite team and, with close links to Bankside property just a few minutes away, plenty of people for you to meet.
